Question on Car Licence Tag?

Ok so the car I am driving right now is not registered to me but to a friend of the family since it was her car before.

How much does it cost to transfer it to my name?

So that Im the legal owner of the car and not her.

And let me ask you something else...

Lets say the tag expires in August. I have the WHOLE month until Aug 31 to renew it right? Or does it expire on a certain date of the month.

the guy above me is correct, it depends on how much she sold it to you for. when you guys go to dmv to put the car under ur name, tell her to write a low amount on how much she sold u the car for this way ur dmv fees will be cheaper.

as for ur tag you have until aug 31st to get it renewed hurry one week left

depends on how much she sold it to u they charge a percent of that. if it was a gift then i think its like 100 bucks. and yes they expire at the end of the month.
