  1. don't even bother with it just get a cortina or a falcon and put a 351w in it or at lest a RWD car

  2. A v8 in an escort with rear wheel drive will be very difficult.Front wheel drive will be more difficult.Hardly worth the effort.

  3. You might want to do some web research on a car that was made called the SHOGUN.

There have been a lot of knock offs on this type of set up. What is done is to take a V-6 engine, trans-axle with engine cradle and mount it in the back seat of a Escort or Fiesta.

An automatic transmission is easier to do, but maybe not as fun to drive.

But to answer your question, maybe a set up out of one of the V-8 Torous would work up front easier then then those mentioned.

302 engines have been used up front with RWD, it requires a lot of work. Such as a custom frame to mount the body work to.

  4. but it has been done...  or at least some one used to do it to festiva's.  actaully, those two 8's have only ever been made with RWD, so you would have to go with that... unless, and this would be my choice, you made it a rear engine car, turned the motor around and still ran it as FWD, which i believe is what they used to do to the festiva's.
