Question on EST time?

is EST eastern USA or eastern Australia? ONLY IF YOU KNOW COMPLETELY 100% that it's one or the other or both should you answer this question I please need only CORRECT answers and also what EST stands for.

It's USA, and it stands for Eastern Standard Time.  Eastern is the time zone designated to the east coast states and some of the midwest states.  The states in the Eastern Time Zone are:

Connecticut

Delaware

District of Columbia

Georgia

Maine

Maryland

Massachusetts

New Hampshire

New Jersey

New York

North Carolina

Ohio

Pennsylvania

Rhode Island

South Carolina

Vermont

Virginia  

As well as parts of:

Florida

Indiana

Michigan

Tennessee

Alabama

Georgia

Parts of Canada, Mexico, Central America, and South America are also included.  Visit Wikipedia for those.

Alternatively, EDT is Eastern Daylight Time, which is when we are in the "Daylight Savings" part of the year.
