Question:

Question on Guitar Hero?

Ok, now, on all my other games, such as God of War, Resident Evil, Wild Arms, etc, all the sound plays well, and it sounds great. However, once I put in Guitar Hero, be it 1 2 or 3, the sound on the right side of my TV doesn't work. I'll be battling a friend, and you can only hear player ones guitar, and player two's guitar riffs are muted. I don't know if its my Television, but even on the other TVs it does the same thing. So I would like to know how I can possibly fix this problem. Or if this is what happens to others.

I don't know if I have to mess with wires, but if I do, please give me a detail explanation on what I should do. Thank You!

  1. i has to do with the disk if it is damaged it messup

  2. Depends on what type of battle thing you are doing.  One of the things only plays what 1st player is playing.  Try co-op and if it still is broken then i dont know.

  3. At first, I thought you had an old version on Wii, which had a bug that made the game always Mono sound, creatign that result. The only thing I can think of is that either your TV only has one audio input, or one of them is blown (as happened to me a few years ago), and you just can't hear the problem in your other games since they don't delineate the sound between left and right to near the degree Guitar Hero does.

If you have the standard Composite connection or S-Video, the two sound wires will be Red and White. If you have a Component connection, normally the sound cords are Black and White.

  4. Have you tried looking in the audio section in the options. I can't remember but it might have an option for mono/stereo sound.

  5. the same thing happens to me. one guitar's part of the song is louder i guess.

  6. I had that exact same problem!but it turns out i cant do anything about it on my tv for some reason.

but i went to their main site and asked them about it and they said:

    "Hello,

If your are using standard RCA cables make sure that you do not have the right and left channel switched.  Also if your tv does not support stereo try using either the left or right RCA connector.  If one does not work then try the other.  Note that some games are made specifically for stereo systems.  If you are playing in mono you may be missing some sounds.

If you are using an optical or HDMI connection make sure that your receiver is set to the proper mode.  Most receivers have an auto detect mode.  This is best as it should auto detect the input signal and set the receiver to the proper output mode.  If you are not using auto detect then make sure that you have the receiver set to the output mode.  If you are not using auto detect then make sure that you have the receiver set to the output mode you have set in the Xbox 360 dashboard.  For instance if you have the Xbox 360 set to output in Dolby Digital then mae sure that the receiver is set to Dolby Digital as well.

I hope that helps, have a nice day."

i know you have a ps2 and not a 360 but it may be the same situation...hopefully

sooo i hope that helped you in any way!
