  1. I am currently half way through my Invisalign process, and I can say that it definitely can fix both an overbite and an over jet, as well as straighten your teeth, spread them out so that they don't overlap, or push them together so that they don't have gaps. It is painful though. There is a lot of pressure on your teeth for the first two days or so when you switch trays, which is about every 2 or 3 weeks. The best thing to do is to switch trays right before you go to bed and take some ibuprofen.  Invisalign can also cause tooth sensitivity, which I'm currently experiencing. So when you eat or drink something hot, cold, or sweet, you may have a bit of tooth pain. It does work though, and the aligners are truly invisible. They can make you talk funny though.

One other thing... if they don't fit exactly perfectly on your teeth, sometimes your tongue will scrape on the edge of the tray when you talk. This causes a raw spot on your tongue that is very painful. If this starts happening, use some dental wax to soften the edge of the tray where your tongue is hitting, and the sore will go away.

  2. invisalign is sort of like braces, so depending how sensitive your teeth/ gums are, they might hurt a little bit. they will basically be pushing/pulling/moving your teeth around, so your teeth will feel a little bit sensitive sometimes. i think it can fix overbites as well as many other things. you send a mold of your teeth to the people who make invisalign, and they will figure out the fastest way to move your teeth into the right spot.

    good luck!

  3. It probably wouldn't fix your overbite because it's not like metal braces. With metal braces you have to wear elastic rubber bands to fix your bite. With invisilign, it's kinda like wearing a retainer after having braces. Braces are cheaper and would probably straighten your teeth better and faster. I would consider that before I got invisilign.
