Question on Los Angeles TAP Card?

Its only possible to buy a monthly pass? I can't reloaded it with money like in NY metro?

What the diffrence between:

1- Monthly Pass : Regular Metro Monthly Pass

2- Monthly 1 Zone : Regular Metro Monthly Pass + 1 Zone

3- Monthly 2 Zones : Regular Metro Monthly Pass + 2 Zones

You can buy a paper monthly pass, you don't have to have a TAP card.  And yes, you reload it with money, I don't know how else you could?

TAP cards are sold at Union Station and you can reload them in any subway station on the machines.  You can pay by cash or card there.

Warning:  TAP cards are annoying.  I had one and stopped reloading it because I'm tired of waiting for the other bozos that show up with cash to go through before I can scan my card.  I just want to flash my card and get on, don't you?
