  1. Yes you can, I have a little cheapy one called a Torpedo and I play my xbox and Wii on it. I mostly watch dvds on it though, while I lay in bed and watch it on my ceiling. I bought it about 6 months ago and I'm still good.

Projector only cost me like $130 at BJ's

  2. Movie theater projectors last about 10,000 hours. It is possible to hook up and Xbox.

To watch tv, hook up a vcr, satelite, cable, hdtv tuner box, computer w/ tv card, another tv w/ video & audio out, a tivo, a dvd recorder w/ tuner, or a proj w. built in tuner.

  3. Yes.  There are home theater projectors designed to connect a Xbox360, TV, DVD to it.  Even though there are projectors rated at 4000, average life span is around 2000 hours.  Basically, it means to change the $400 bulb every year or other year depending on frequency of use.

  4. yes, you can hook up your 360 to your projector.  my suggestion is that you get an audio receiver to hook up all of your components, and then run one long HDMI or compenent video cable to your projector from your receiver.  The sound will come out of your surround sound speakers and video will be transferred to your projector.  You can watch TV on your projector if you either 1) get a projector with a tuner built in it and hook up an antenna to get your locals; or 2) get a cable box and hook it up in a similar fashion as your 360.  The bulbs, depending on the projector, could last up to 5000 hours.  but that all depends on how much you use the projector, how many lumens  your projector is, what  mode your projector is on (some have an eco-mode to make the lamp last longer).  If you have any questions, go to a best buy.  The HT people there are certified in home theater now and really do know their stuff.  They'll set you up with the perfect projector and set-up.
