Hey wats up...i've seen sum of the Trick Shot competitions on ESPN, and other channels, and what i was wondering, if if those are the regular pool balls that you would find in a place like...a bar, a game room, etc.

Is everything they use, all the same as what you would find somewhere else, or are there modifications at all?

  1. Everything they use to do those tricks is tournament legal. The balls and everything, nothing is modified.

  2. its all the same stuff.  it will be be more expensive but nothign special.  just takes skill and practice

  3. The only piece of equipment trick shot artists use that most people do not is a masse cue.

  4. No modifications, all tournament legal.  One minor differance is the 7 ball is pink instead of burgundy but that was only done for TV cameras because it was difficult to differentiate it from the 3 ball.  Useless info is fun.

I see I got a thumbs down, if I erred in my answer I'd like to know where, I wouldn't want to misinform anyone.

P.S. what's a Masse Cue, Matt, I use my Meucci whenever I need to Masse

  5. No tricks in the equip Its all legal Ck out Tims site  Im not sure if it is covered in there

  6. The only thing that may be different for them is that their rails are new so bounce is consistent. A good pool hall should have fair to good rails whereas theirs are in excellent shape.

Also, the tables are PERECTLY leveled before they begin.

Everything else is the same as you and I play on.

  7. it is all tourny  approved
