  1. OKay, these are good questions.  First off, the Pros:

The surgery is easy, nearly painless, takes about 20 minutes and has almost no side effects at all.  Ejaculation is just as you will remember it, except now your "river" doesn't have any "fish".  Peace of mind is the bigest pro...no more condoms, babies, or worries about having your partner be responsible for birth control.

The cons:  Condoms still offer protection against STD's.  Vasectomies do not.  You have to let a doctor near your junk with a scaple in their hand.

The operation a women must undergo is much more invasive and expensive.  I have to say that I was scared at first, but very pleased with the results of my vasectomy.

  2. go to www.webmd.com ..put it in the search engine,,get a Dr answer.

  3. DON't   HAVE ONE PLEASE WHATEVER U DO DON'T GET ONE U WILL NO LONGER BE A MAN ALL OF THE OTHER ANSWERERS ARE DOCTORS THAT WILL TRY TO GET U A VASECTOMIE SO DON'T LISTEN TO THEM IT HAPPENED TO ME

  4. I don't know of any cons of getting a vasectomy.  It is the most effective, and least expensive birth control.

  5. Ok, that is simple.  Don’t take one word of advice from any man that has never had a vasectomy or anyone on here that claims to be a doctor.  In ether of those cases you are going to get lies, urban legend, or both.

A vasectomy is cheap. It takes only about 15 min.  It is just about 100% painless.  It has no scar, or side effects.  You can also keep it a secret of you want.

The only con is it does not prevent STD.

  6. First of all it only takes a few minutes in the doctors office. You DO NOT need general anesthisia. Your recovery time is a couple of days. You will be sperm free after about 20 ejaculations. No more condoms, no more babies.

The biggest plus is that you can test your fertility at any time. With a tubal ligation on a female, you DO NOT know the operation has failed until you get pregnant.
