Question on Visa issue when taking cruise?

If somebody in America holding other country's visa and plan to take cruise (boarding from Galveston, Texas) for five days, does she has to apply for Mexico visa or not?

  1. I live in Mexico.  If you are just entering Mexico for a short visit, you can get a tourist card on the cruise or at the border.  ASK your cruise company how they handle it.  It is very easy...do not need to go to consulate or apply ahead of time.  Cruise lines do this all the time.


  2. I think you need to first make sure if you need or not a visa, if you do them you must apply for one, it doesn't matter what country you're in, there are still consular offices or even embassies where you can apply or ask what the proper procedure is.
