Question on a 96 Dodge Ram

basically, I'm 17 and just bought this truck. It's a 96 dodge ram 4x4 slt. I'm trying to make it look real good, but the main defect is that on the bodyside moulding, all the chrome looking stuff is faded and peeling off. Smeone told me i could just buy a little plastic strip that goes on there, and someone else told me that i would have to get all of it replaced. I was wondering what i have to do and where i could go to order the stuff or have it fixed. thanks

  1. your talking about the molding strips the dealer can still get you these new, that's the best route to go on that tuck,if it looks real good i wouldn't attempt to patch it ,you can also go through a body shop and get them to order it for you and they may be able to save you some money on it,good luck.
