  1. yeah i would love to help u but ihave the same Q!~

  2. try a 7'0" funboard.  round nose, round tail.  fat in the middle with not too much rocker.  easy to paddle into waves on, not too big to paddle out with, and still maneuverable enough to have fun on all sorts of wave conditions.  depending on where you live, i could recommend some places to buy one... in socal.

  3. i say you get a 7'1 board

  4. get a nsp 7'10 thats what i have their really good boards but im getting a rusty next but nsp's are a good board for a beginner

  5. Ya i would say anything that is between 7 ft or 8ft would work well.Remember the longer the board the easier to catch waves. The thicker/wider the easier to stand up.And since u are learning this is all u need to learn anyways.Anything smaller/thinner is for rippers who know how to surf.Just learn the basics and get a feel first.I would also try looking for a used board for start, you will not really notice a difference between a used one or new one anyways since u are a beginner.

  6. I would definitely recommend a longboard to start out. They are great for learning because they are easier to balance and stand up on. I would start out with a 9 foot board that is fairly wide. The longer and wider the board is, the easier it will be to ride. The brand doesn't really matter just make sure it has a nice shape. Look for a round nose, square tail, and probably one with three fins.
