Question on a visit to south india?

i currently planning a trip to india and i would like to visit the south of the country and sravanbelagola.

what i would like advice on is how do i get there from somewhere like bangalore or hassan

from what my guidebook says there are 4 direct buses but only the mysore one is direct.

is it possible to get the direct bus to sravanbagola from bangalore spend the night in hassan or mysore befroe going back to bangalore for my flight

  1. * Shravanabelagola is 146kms from Bangalore and 11kms from Channarayapatna.

        * Nearest Airport: Bangalore

        * Nearest Railway Station: Hassan

    From Bangalore to Hassan take 6517 MANGALORE EXP SBC 20.55 HAS 02.15 taking 05.20 hours. But timing is inconvenient so buses are better.

    If you are a single traveller, take a tran from BLR to HSN, and then on by a taxi to sravanabelagola & back.  If you are travelling with your partner/kids or so then adopt a taxi for the entire trip which is safe and enjoyable.

  4. my dear kstdc running volvo bus service for tourist  from banglore to sravanbelagola and back to banglore. for further detail click on this link for all other details . it depature morning 07.15 from banglore and back to banglore at 22.00 in night on same day. it is one day tour you can book online also.
