Question on bedding...?

My family and I are moving into a new house and I'm designing my room. My walls are white, I have a trey cieling and part of it is painted Tiffany blue, and my floors are a dark reddish brown hardwood. I'm going for a more vintage antique design, so most of my furniture is wood and older. Tiffany blue is my pop of color, and I have it in many forms (Tiffany boxes, a few picture frames, etc.).

I'm trying to decide what color my bedding should be. Should it be blue, or more of a cream color? What about my rug? Can you leave links to examples of bedding? Thanks =]

  1. Blue and cream are one of my favorite combos.  They look awesome together and it's usually not too hard to find great patterns with both colors.  Could you paint your furniture?  If so, you could paint that a antique cream color and then go for blue bedding and rug...

Here's a couple links to bedding:

I'm not sure if these are exactly the right shade of blue, but they are both antique looking blue/cream rugs:

  2. go into the gold tones ,it will work well with blue and red

  3. I love Tiffany blue! I think you should go for a blue bedding set. It would balance out the ceiling and look great with the accessories. I think a rug that is maybe cream or white, with maybe some blue accents would be really pretty.

Check out my shopping blog for all sorts of bedding in just blue/aqua/turquoise colors. I also have a ton of rugs listed too. Maybe you'll find something perfect for your new room!
