I got a pre amp with subwoofer output, the L & R RCA output is connected to an amp RCA input. The amp itself has a crossover setting "Full Range" and "Low Pass"... My question is, do I leave it at "Full Range" or set it to "Low Pass"??

What I have in mind is that the frequency from the subwoofer out is already a low pass frequency, am I correct? So when it comes into the amp with a crossover setting "Full Range" and "Low Pass" , then.... here is where I stuck.... :)

    WRONG!

you have to adjust the slope and crossover settings according to your taste - read the user manual of the head unit o see how it can be changed

if set from the head unit - no need to do it on the amplifier

    good luck :)
