Okay, I am woundering about the 24-hour contacts, like from Day and Night. where you keep them in for a whole month. do you have to use eye drop or something, I really have no clue, help? Or would it be easier to just get daily contacts?

  1. Those Night and Day lenses are one of the worst inventions ever approved for use.

Many , many Dr's won't even prescribe them.

Your best bet to keep your eyes healthy are the 1 day , or 2 week , or even monthly disposables, that you remove EVERY night.

  2. Read the instructions in the box, I'm sure there were some.

  3. MY DR JUST PRESCRIBED THE NIGHT AND DAY LENSES. SO FAR THEY ARE GREAT BEEN WEARING THEM FOR A WEEK NOW, I SLEEP IN THEM TOO! VERY COMFORTABLE. I THINK YOU'LL LIKE THEM :)

  4. Eye drops are meant to use "as needed". With the Night and Day lenses, you don't have to use eye drops, unless your eyes are feeling dry or irritated, although it is very important to moisturize the lens before you take it out, you can use eye drops for that or you can use your contact lens solution. The new studies show that the Night and Day lenses are very healthy, if you only sleep in them for NO more than 30 days (I'm an optician, it's still very hard for me to say it's okay to sleep in your lenses...). Daily contacts are great, you put them in and at night throw them away, the next day you have a fresh pair to put on. No solution to worry about, no case to clean, very easy and convenient. I put my daughter (she's 7, has a strong prescription, doesn't take care of her things, and she doesn't wear them everyday) in dailies. They are so thin she can't even feel them.

Only you and your doctor can determine which is best for you, see your doctor, there are many factors that go into which kind will work best for you including correction, allergies, and protein build up.
