now my freind told me that this isnt a curl because i was using my back i aint using my back am i

  1. What you should do to make sure your not using your back is you have your back on the wall and then do your curls, this tells you if you can do the weight w/ out your back. It will totally help you w/ your biceps and you can show off your muscles to the ladies.  


  2. First of all man you are coming down with that weight way to quickly and forcefully. That's a good way to pull a bicep or tricep muscle.

    You are moving you back.

    Stand feet shoulder width apart and flex lower and upper arms, and pull it up. You can tighten you back muscles but make sure your stomach and upper chest don't make a see - saw effect.

  3. to tell ya the truth bro-- it is almost a curl, but you kind of rock. try doing it with just your arms, and not jerking your back-- you did a little.
