Question on jet bridges?

i was wondering with jet bridges that connect terminals to the plane and vice versa do a lot of them have doors that route where passengers go ie when passengers arrive they are routed into customs the door is then opened.closed so that passengers waitng to board can board

Yes, some airports have gates that can be used for incoming flights for both international and domestic flights.  I think the term is "mixed use gate", but that might instead refer to a gate that is shared between multiple airlines.  Anyway, yes, there will be a pair of doors.  If it's a domestic flight, the door into the general terminal will be open, and the door to the hall that leads to customs will be closed.  If it was an international flight, vice-versa.  But these doors are generally located right after you exit the jetway and get into the building, not in the jetway itself.  And I think this is somewhat rare - most airports have some gates that are int'l only, and some gates that are domestic only.

    If you're asking about Y-shaped jetways in general, some airports have jetways where you walk out of a door into the jetway to board a flight, and then the jetway splits halfway down, and the two ends of the jetway connect to different airplanes.
