Do lip piercings hurt really really bad?

Which part of the lip is the best place to get one? Like would the side or the center of the lip hurt more?

which part of the lip is the cutest to get pierced?

and when u get lip piercings,are they hard to keep clean??

i'm just wondering. i'm wanting to get one.

it doesn't hurt when its being pierced,

it hurts after ><

they numb it when you're having it done

but a few hours later it starts to hurt.

and theyre easy to keep clean.

side of the lip is cutest.

i never got one before but my friend tells me that it hurts really bad at first but youll get used to it.

you also have to keep it clean like ear piearcing.

It depends on your pain tolerance, mine didn't hurt at all.

Your labret piercing (center) hurts more, and they're not that hard to keep clean, but you do have to make sure they're clean otherwise theres a chance of infection. The person who does the piercing for you should explain how to keep it clean etc.

My friends said they do hurt quite alot , but it SO worth it =]

It depends if ur a girl or guy...

I think snake bites look really amazin on both, then if u just want one you can take one out anyway.

I dont really like just the middle done.

You just have to be really careful because theres lots of bacteria in your mouth. Use mouthwash after you eat, just stuff like that.

yep. you can get it done this way without the ball. Ask your piercer to use a segment ring, and it will resemble a continuous ring.

Of course it will painful, only for a few weeks though.

I think the left-hand side of your lip looks cool, I'm sorry but I don't like ones in the middle - I think they look like zits.

  My friend has her lip pierced and she says they are easy to keep clean, just make sure to clean around your mouth after eating spaghetti bolognaise.

I Don't Think Lip Piercing's Should Hurt That Much, You Can Expect It to Hurt For A Couple Of Days But Only If its Knocked =] I Went Through A Stage Of Peircing My Own Lip With A Sterilised Sewing Needle An Icecube And Salt Water,

As Long As You Keep Applying Salt Water To It (This Applies If You Get It Professionally Done Aswell As Doing It Yourself) To Sterilize The Hole And Clean It, I Would Do This About Twice A Day As Well As Turning The Bar Around Occasionally To Keep It From Closing Up Around The Piercing,

I Would Start With A Bar And Then Progress To A Ring When You Think It's Ready To Be Changed, As The Bars Are Much More Easier To Maintain Than The Rings As They Are More Awkard To Clean Around And Hurt More To Be pulled Around To Do So =]

The Right Side Of The Lip Is The Most Popular Place To Get It Done And Looks Good =] Unfortunatly, Sometimes The Ones Centered In The Middle Of The Mouth Usually Gives People The Wrong Kind Of Idea On What Sort Of Person You Are, Yet If It Was On A Side It Would Look Less...
