  1. No, it's not worth it. The bike is 20+ years old, cost <$400 new and is not a classic or collectable. Bikes like this typically go for $100 in good shape.

EDIT: I see you asked about at least one other bike. Be careful, these ads are pie-in-the-sky prices for the sellers. On free sites there is no cost to run adds so some people ask outragious prices in hopes of acually getting it.

  2. Seems high. Costs new back in the 80's for $300-$450.

Depends on the year, it was equipped with Shimano 105 group. Frame looks small, usually frame that is not of average size fetch lower price.

check this site for a price comparison.

  3. Oh uhhh WOW.... First off, your paying too much, the Miyata three ten is full steel frame. Your paying too much for a 1980- bike.I know this because I OWN the same model (BLACK). AND its a guys bike, even though its sky-blue. It may look like its a girls bike, but you can recognize a bike if its a male or females bike by its frame.

    For example: Womens: http://www.rutlandcycling.com/ProductIma...

    Mens: http://www.abikestore.com/bikes/GMC/gmc-...

You see how the frame is different?
