Question pertaining to illegal drugs?

Is it common for people to use multiple drugs say if someone does crystal meth as well as another source like cocaine? What happens when more than one harmful drug enters the body? Is this automatically fatal? I am not into drugs, smoking, or beer, I just was curious, sorry if this does not sound intelligent but thanks.

These chemical cocktails take their toll on the kidneys and livers of the abusers, leading to death. Some might live longer than others, but life spans are seriously impaired by using these combinations.
