For about 1 yr 1/2 my friend has had this weird occurrance happen when she's half sleep/half awake state. Behind her eyelids, she sees this party of ppl, in black and white, sort of like a silent movie all talking, no sound..very animated bunch. Usually, one person tries to break away from the crowd and get my friend's attention by waving, etc. but she tells him/her she can't hear them but they still keep trying. She can't tell what they're wearing: pretty non-descript clothes. The last 3 times, however, when this occured, she found herself in the same place, only this time, noone is trying to get her attn. She looks to the right of the group and sees this attractive older woman w/long dark hair. My friend thinks she's nice so she smiles. The woman makes her way toward my friend wearing this "sh*t eating grin" as my friend says. My friend becomes uneasy. She get's up close to my friend, still grinning, but the skin on her face becomes thin and grey, almost aged..grin still there.

  1. It is not demonic.  There is certain criteria for a demonic infestation and according to the length of time and events you have described, it does not meet those conditions.

Since this has been happening for a year and a half, I would have to say that your friend is having a reocurring dream.  She is probably very interested in the meaning of the dream and even hopes to eventually hear sounds, so she keeps having the same dream.

Demonic infestation does happen, but in this case, I would say that is not the case.

  2. I am not skeptic but a true believer, but dreams are dreams. Dreams can mean something religiously but as far as the paranormal goes dreams are not counted as paranormal usually.

  3. if it has not hurt her yet then probably not

  4. Sounds like she is doing whats called "Lucid dreaming"

In this dream state, a person has some consciousness and can control elements of the dream. With practice, some people learn to control the entire dream enviroment.

  5. does your friend use drugs ?

  6. It was just a dream.

  7. She's probably having a lucid dream.

  8. Your request "serious replies only, no skeptics" is somewhat of a contradiction.

The vast majority of reported hauntings occur while falling to sleep, while asleep, or while waking up. The common denominator is -- you guessed it -- sleep. In the semi-conscious state the brain is not to be trusted for perceiving real events. It sounds very much like your friend has some anxiety leading to a recurring dream. Bad dreams can be build upon themselves if the dreamer becomes anxious or scared about them. There isn't any reason here that I see to think that something paranormal is going on or that there is a "demon".

  9. put salt in a circle and pretend like your playing a game send them in the middle and make up something like close your eyes count back for 20 and step out. If they don't step out then you get your holy demon.

Or a simpilar way would be saying the word God in Latin

    "Deus"

  10. She's having a recurring dream.  It took a nightmarish twist.  Nothing paranormal here.  Certainly no demons, which are just mythological creatures representing the spiritual Boogey Man.

If you don't want a skeptic to answer don't post in a public forum.  Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies.

  11. Be a good friend, tell her she's dreaming it.Tell her there's no such thing as demons and of course they can't hurt her.Seriously, she needs someone to put her on the road to reality.A real friend would not play into her delusional nonsense.
