Thank you footprintz. Sorry to be a pain..So....now how do I convince the eyeglass store next door where I bought the glasses that there is a defect in the hydrophobic coating that's making the AR do that? Thank you again...When I complained to my optomostrist, he went next door where I bought them to make sure they were coated. All they said was yes. They're coated. Obviously they had No clue what the issue was.

  1. Sorry , I only just saw this question.

    All I can suggest is to ask them to check with the lab that did the coating. The lab has probably had it happen before and will know what the problem is also.

    Maybe if the lab tells them, they will believe it ?

    All they have to do is tell the lab what your problem is, and if they offer any service at all, they should just re-do it with no problem.
