I was wondering what's the best type of tea to drink to help you relax? I like Raspberry Zinger from Celestial Seasonings but is there something else I can try so I don't get bored of just one tea all the time?

  1. Chamomile tea is good for relaxing. There is no caffeine in it. You will most likely find that it is the main tea if not the only tea in some of these companies that name their teas stupid things like "sleepy time" tea.

Pepermint is also a good relaxer. They have a pepermint tea but I have not actually review it yet myself. Since pepermint is a mint and not a tea I wonder what kind of tea they use in it. If it has caffeine then the peppermint is for flavor only and won't help you relax.

You can buy a peppermint additive to add to chamomile tea or to water or any other drink that does not have sugar and caffeine to help you relax. Make sure to get actual peperment extract and not simply a flavoring. The flavorings don't normally have real peppermint in them so you won't actually get the benefit.

  2. Grab a couple of peppermints, have someone smash em for ya, and put them in hot water and let them melt.  It's good for the tummy, and it will help you relax. :p

So you gonna try that then go to bed?

  3. If you like the Celestial Seasonings brand, try their sleepytime tee.  Very tasty and relaxing. It has chamomile, spearmint, West Indian lemongrass, tilia flowers, blackberry leaves, orange blossoms, hawthorn berries and rosebuds.

  4. a nice hot cup of chamomile tea always relaxes me.  sometimes with a little honey. twinings is my favorite brand.
