Question:

Question regarding cement removal from a car

A few weeks back I was driving on the highway and some wet cement fell off a bridge under repair and onto my car. I didn't know what it was at the time (thought it was mud actually), and continued to drive to work. By the time I had arrived it had solidified (the ride to work was about 2 hours). There is cement on my windshield, hood, side panel and trim. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what a shop would charge me to repair?

P.S. I will be filing a claim with the state DOT, but I have no idea how long it will take for me to receive compensation.

  1. why don't you do you're self god u guys act like its an impossible job to do get some hot water and concentrated car soap and scrub it for a long time maybe 5 min use you're nail and try chipping it off slowly repeat soap and hot water and it should come off when it does just wax and buff it.

  2.     I'm pretty sure that a shop would charge a fairly steep price for that kind pf repair. but I'm not sure without seeing the damage.

  3. I would say it will probably ruin your paint when they try to get it off. Cement realy sticks.
