Question:

Question regarding thin hair...?

I have really thin hair due to my not reading the instructions in hair dye boxes. I rubbed permanent hair dye into my scalp 5x in a month, then had to go to a salon to fix it. This was years ago, and my hair is much better now, but it's still really thin. If I take hair supplements, will it help make my hair thicker? Or did I burn it permanently off of my scalp?

There's no bald spots or anything, it's just been really thin ever since. But not so thin that I have to use mousse(though it does make it look a lot better).

Also, do the hair supplements even work? And if I stop taking them, will my hair get super thin again?

  1. supplements o.k. but I think you should get your thyroid checked

because hypothyroidism causes hair to thin and eventually even the

    eyebrows thin too.

maybe thin hair is a gene you inherited I doubt the bad dye job is

    still affecting your hair today
