Question regarding visitor visa.?

hai i have a question regarding american visitor visa.i am an indian citizen.now i am living in ireland in working visa.my boyfriend is an american citizen.we plan on getting married in america.can i go to america and get marry with visitor visa and can i change my status after my marriage? how long it will take to get a visitor visa and how long will take to change my status after marriage.hope i will get the best answer. thanks jj

you may marry provided you enter  the US legally  after marriage   file for an adjustment of you visa  status  and you will be OK to stay   your green card   will be along after you finish the probationary period   of 2 yrs  at that point you will be  interview along with Ur husband   mainly to check the status and validity of Ur marriage    if all OK you will be given  the green card  unconditional   good luck  the visitor visa if you meet all the qualification of not being a potential immigrant  can be issued  same day  now if you mention that you will marry in america  it will be  denied  because that would classify you as  potential immigratnt circumventing  the whole process

Apply for a fiancee visa to the US in order to get married thereat with your American boyfriend.  The you can now apply for a permanent resident visa and after about five years, you can now apply for a US citizenship.

You can get married on a visitor visa but you must leave the country and have your husband apply for a spousal visa. If you stay and try to adjust your status you will most likely be charged with immigration fraud and deported. You did swear that you would leave the country and not apply for a change of status in order to get that visa didn't you? The US is cracking down on immigration.

Your best bet would be to get a fiancee visa and then you can enter legally, get married and stay here with your husband if you fill out the rest of the paperwork. If you want you can even become a citizen after a time.
