Question that i really need a good answer for?

hey, i've been trying to get onto this ambulance crew, its a volunteer-student run ambulance, and they hold tryouts and interviews to get on. now, they have a tryout once every six months and this includes interviews, and the one thing they really nail you on is this one question: "what do you want out of this?" and the answer should be be what you don't want, but what you want to give. and ive got a few ideas, but i'd love to hear yours, like what would you answer?

This is an answer that should come from your heart.  What is it you want out of it besides getting credit for it.  Is this a field of work that you would like to pursue?  If so, then your answer should be, I am thinking of making this my career, and I enjoy helping people and I would like to get as much experience out of this as I can,  Good Luck To you.

I would like to get real world experience and the satisfaction of knowing that I am helping others and my community.
