I want to buy a multi region DVD player so I can watch American films,but where can I get one from and how do I know if it's multi region?

The shop will generally tell you if it's multi-region or not.

You won't be able to buy a multi-region player from the likes of Currys or whatever, but small independent shops and chains generally carry them.

However, often the no-name Chinese players sold by the likes of Tesco are multi-region by default, but unfortunately there's no way of knowing that until you get it home.

For a good quality branded player that's guaranteed to be multi-region, Richer Sounds may be your best bet. They have a number of different models from the likes of Sony, Samsung and Philips, and they indicate on the website which ones are multi-region.
