Question:

Question to Patriots fans?

Hypothetical question...just curious. If Tom Brady and Bill Belichick had a rift...just a falling out over any random thing to where it couldn't be worked out...which would you prefer to see leave the team? Who's more valuable to the team in your opinion? And no answers about they're equally important. Which side would you personally choose? And if they were to both leave the team...would you still be a Patriots fan or would you jump ship?

  1. I personally think you keep  Belichick he picked Brady out of the 6th round kinda like a diamond in the rough . i believe if it came down to finding a new QB i think Belichick would  have no problem replacing Brady wether it be in the Draft or free agency .

    But thats all Hypothetical .

Im sure they have their rifts in the club house agrees disagrees .

But they both want to win so i dont see them ever having a falling out .

Eventually both will be gone and the Patriots will have to start all over .

  2. Brady would definitely go between the two.  You can't afford to lose a coach as good as Belichick.

If they were both to leave, the Patriots would not be the team they are today and a bunch of Patriots fans would jump ship.  A bunch of Patriots fans jumped ship about 1-2 years ago.  When the Patriots had their 10-6 season and didn't make the play-offs.  Their fans booed them at a number of the games.  Not only that, but they had a number of stadium seats empty and many of the fans were leaving mid-game.  I remember the Patriots players getting all mad about it.

It's sad, but many of the Patriots fans are only behind their team when they win.  They remind me a lot of the Lakers fans.  As long as their team is winning they'll back them.  If they aren't, that place has a lot of empty seats or they leave halfway through the game.

I get sick of fans like that.  They boast and boast about how their team is the best and how everybody else sucks when they are winning, then they disappear and abandon their team when they are losing.

I have to give credit to fans of teams like the Bears, Packers, Lions, Steelers, and Colts.  You don't see them abandon their teams when they are losing.

  3. I guess I don`t qualify for an answer. I am Steelers fan. However I am a Brady fan and Belicheck fan. I say keep the coach. Teams led by great coaches win championships . Not qbs by themselves.

  4. most certaintly Tom Brady

I do think that both positions are equally important to the team

but bill has alot of baggage to where tom still seems to love the team and the game

  5. I would def still be a Pats fan why would this change anything? I mean I was a Celtics fan when they won 18 games....

Anyways I would want them to - and Kraft would mostly likely also - trade Brady away.

This way you could get some really nice draft picks (2 first round picks at least unless hes really old when this happens) or even some players.

If Brady gets traded we would need to develop a young qb / sign or trade for a vet. Not the biggest deal and will have to happen eventually anyways. They key to any superbowl that the Pats have ACTUALLY won has been defense and not offense and Belichick realizes that after last year.

If we traded away Belichick a good amount of his assistants would probably leave and we would need to hire a whole new coaching staff. Then players have to learn new offenses / defenses and deal with a different coach for the first time in a long time. It could work out - but chances are it wouldnt end up good. Belichick and Piloi are the Pats key to sucess with their talent evaluation (this is what found Brady).

Also Kraft said Belichick is the biggest reason we won any superbowls.

I would say at this point in Bradys career he is more important than Belichick for any one given season - but of the course of multiple season Belichicks loss would be MUCH greater than Bradys loss.
