Question to People who drive cars?

Why do you seem let people with kids cross the street, and any other pedestrians have to wait for the walk signal? How Rude is that?!

i know that happens at my school...but i always wait for them to cross first .....not the other way around...

its not rude at all, its considerate.

Kids are more likely to dart out than adults whom supposedly have more judgment and chancing mowing down a child or animal just doesn't appeal to me or any other motorist I could name right now.  If you think it is not your responsibility to watch out for pedestrians, what state are you from so I can avoid it?
