Question to the X2 veteran riders.?

I went yesterday to Six Flags Magic Mountain. And I got to go on X2.In my opinion one of the greatest coasters on Earth, if not the greatest.And when we reached the end where you would usually get off the ride, the person at the controls said "Sorry for the inconvenience but you have to ride again." It was AWESOME.We got to skip another hour of waiting. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
