  1. I had three kids and gained all kinds of weight.  I had to work at it to loose it all, but I did!  I ate 1/2 cantaloupe for breakfast, a Bologna sandwich with cheese and tomato for lunch and the other 1/2 cantaloupe and a small piece of meat for dinner. I drank unsweetened tea all day and I went to an exercise class twice a week and I was loosing 5 lbs a week!  I have a picture of me and my three kids out with a friend and I looked great!  You can do it too!

  2. I'm a 'real' mommy and lost the weight before I left the hospital and didn't breastfeed...some of us just have the genetics...you should just drink lots of water no soda and walk a bunch...good luck

  3. Well, I'm a father, not a mother, but I know my wife is not terribly concerned with her figure. I think she's more beautiful than ever, because when I see her little tummy, I think of the wonderful little boy she gave me.

By all means, try to lose the weight if it makes you feel better, but work on your self-esteem as well. Society tells us a woman has to be trim again a month after giving birth. Why? Because Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry, etc., do it. Unfortunately, they can afford a nanny while they work out with a personal trainer for 3 hours a day, eating meals prepared by a professional chef. Most of us aren't that lucky or wealthy.

With two kids, my personal opinion is that you should be more proud of trying to be a good mother of two kids instead of being proud of your body.

  4. walking is a great and easy way to lose weight! i have a 5 month old and i m walking everyday and starting to slim slowly.dont drink sodas i drink water only.

as soon as i move into our new home me and my husband are going to start jogging too.

    try that maybe.

    good luck!

  5. The thin people who have kids on the tv have money so they go to the clinic and say... I wanna weigh 100 pounds and they cut it all off! kinda nasty but it is more then likey true.I was 130 and i jus had my son 2 years ago... Now im at 145 and cant lose the belly. I dont feel too hot. If i had the money i would not bother to do the surgury, you should have the lil extra weight. It happends. I am happy that I am not thin. it takes time to get used to it. I would not worry too much. if they dont like your tummy... then you should not talk to them.

Other then that I would suggest situps... alot of them!

    Goodluck!

  6. I breastfed and walked for 30-45 minutes a day with a tight girdle on to help my stomach muscles pull in faster, by the time my daughter was 8 months I was back down to my pre pregnancy size.  I too am 5'2 and weighed  130 before pregnancy.  My daughter is now 3 and I'm TTC #2 at age 25.

  7. hi miskitti!

u r only young at 21! so instead of snacking on the sweeties pick up some muesli bars or fruit and get those babies of yours up to the park and out into the fresh air and yes walking is the only way to get rid of that belly and pushing that pram is the best exercises u can get as your pushing on your belly muscles to do it up hills are the best and they don't have to be steep ones just slight inclines will do, don't exert yourself, try and find yourself some "ME TIME" and lay in a bath with olive oil in it great for stretch marks, and yes celebs have personal trainers, nannies and lots of money to suck all that excess fat right out that's how they can look so fab straight after they give birth gf.

hope it all goes well for u and remember get through the first two weeks without all those sweets and u will get those pounds off really quick and no coke-cola...

  8. I breast fed for 2 years last time, and no it did not take off weight, and yes it did make my appetite soar just like yours. So each woman is different with that.

The only thing that go the weight off for me was power walking baby in stroller every night. We would walk at least 2 miles every night before or after dinner .i suggest a light dinner then walk, because otherwise you will be famished when you get home.

and this is fast pace break a sweat walking, but i always go in the evening when it is nice and cool out.

so yes walking alone will take off weight, relieve stress and give you some much needed alone, quiet time. i loooove it !

as for the little pudgies, you are so young, i have high hopes for you to get it off, as long as your diet is healthy and you drink a ton of water you should be able to get that weight off within 6 months will little effort.

some loose skin may remain though as is only natural after having a baby.

thankfully you dont have alot of weight to lose, i gained 70 lbs with my last pregnancy( i had health issues) and then after a very complicated delivery i couldnt resume excersise for 2 months after, but when i did, then weight came off.

    best wishes to you !

  9. Breastfeeding is one of the quickest ways to get back to your pre-pregnancy weight.

  10. I felt so fat after my second. I am small boned and usually like 108lbs and I am 5'3". After my second I was 123lbs but my face was fatter and I my hips and thighs felt huge. I started working out about 3 months after I had him. I worked out for like 6 months and got down to like 112lbs but then stopped working out for like a year. I started working out again april 07 but didnt notice results until like december when I finally committed to eating better. I was doing so good, eating healthier and working out like 5 days a week, and then I slowed down in july and now I am pregnant and havent worked out since I found out.

I dont think you have to totally give up chocolate just try to limit how much you eat.

  11. I feel for you. Every body is different, so there is no telling how long it will take you to get back to pre-pregnancy weight, but here's some encouragement...

    1) When you crave chocolate, have a cup of sugar-free hot cocoa. It hits the spot!

    2) Wait until that little baby is running all over the place and you have two boys to chase after! The weight will drop off! Do Not send the 7-year-old to check on the little one. Do yourself and him a favor and keep active!

You'll be fine. Hang in there!

  12. some mothers do and some don't. I lost all my weight after baby number one. After baby number two I was not so lucky.

Some women naturally lose the weight and some never actually gain and go home in their old jeans. It depends on you individual body.
