Question to those who have had ear candling done?

Recently had it done and the next day felt dizzy and sick. Does this have any reaction to the ear candling or could it have been something else?

My husband and I have done ear candling our selves.  We got them from a health food store.  Heard about them through a neighbor that uses them on her whole 6 person family.  All kinds of creepy junk came out of there.  We didn't have a bad reaction, but if you have an inner ear infection it can cause your equilibrium to become unbalanced and will make you feel dizzy.
