  1. the average icome varies between professions...for example, the average construction wage is around 600 euro per week, and the average  retail/ store worker wage is around 400 euro per week

our health system is a shambles at the moment, you can check out these few links

    http://www.hse.ie/en/

    http://ombudsman.gov.ie/en/PressReleases...

hope this helps just a little..our health service is terrible...

  2. Income varies of fiels of work. Adverages after tax are around

    Sales Clerks: E400 per week

    Construction: E600 per week

    Childcare: E500 per week

I personally was alwasy satisfied with the Health Care I recieved in Ireland. (I moved to the US recently and it is very different financially and even personally. Irish nurses are a lot friendlier)

Growing up in Ireland I never got treatment abroad or knew of a single person who did. I return to Ireland for Medical and Dental treatment still.

I like that our Health Care system is socialised and it is affordable. You do not have to have private Insurance to go to the doctor or ER like you do here in the US. Without Insurance in the US an ER visit is around $2,000 for visit and xrays. In Ireland it is E55 and that includes visit, xrays and even a cast, which you have to get done somewhere else in the US.
