Question: we have 2 4 month old boys with us also?

What do you do when you take a 2 year old daughter to a party and she just does whatever she wants to have fun and does not listen to anyone and just plays and gets into mischief? It gets to the point where you have to pick her up screaming and yelling and bring her home?

I read in parenting magazine that showing kids over encouragement to them when they are good is the best way to go. If everything they do good has a big reaction they will want to do that more. You don't ignore what they do wrong just make what they do right a bigger response. Most children just like to get a reaction and will do anything to get it. So if yo say good job today at the party when you shared and listened that one time so get out of the pool she is more likely to react in a more of a positive way.  It is said to take a few times but you will see a big improvement

If that does not work what my mother did to me was send me to my room and i couldn't come out until my attitude has changed this always worked. My mother had 4 kids and never had a problem with it because we get to choose when we feel we should come out. 2 might be a little you but you can always try it.

The good ol' terrible twos.  I know exactly what you are going through.  If she doesn't listen, put her in a time out.  If that doesn't work, then leave and go home.  Just make sure you explain to her why she went into time out, or why you left.  That way, she knows why she is getting punished.
