The fact that you've summed up millions of people in two AssUMptions of "like a _______" tells me that you aren't really in touch with who and what you are. We love our neat, little stereotypes of "women are" and "men are" but they aren't very accurate. Am I really "like a man" because of my math and science talents? Is my husband really "like a woman" because he encourages me to develop those talents? We both hear it often enough.

Drop the gender-typing and let those "masculine" interests flourish. They're yours and they're okay.
