Questioning pregnancy test result?

I took a pregnancy test this afternoon and I am confused by the answer. Need some help please. I took it this afternoon and there was only a horizontal line (not pregnant). But I had drank a lot of water, and I had peed about an hour before this. In the middle of the horizontal line, it was a darker blue than the rest of the line. But there was no trace of a vertical line. Does anyone know if this means anything. It was a clearblue easy test. Thank you.

Try First Response and see what it says. Make sure that you pee on it the first thing in the morning. That is when your levels are highest. Drinking a lot will dilute the urine. Good luck:)

when I used clearblue easy I never got an acutal + sign... I did about 3 tests and they all came up either half a line, one line or the other, the top or bottom half of a + sign, but in the end it was all positive because if your NOT pregnant you won't get ANYTHING in that window!!  Sounds like congrats are in order!!  Try a first response to clarify....no plus sign, either a line or not!

It is best if it is first morning urine, if you are not very far along.  Meaning....you should hold your urine for a long time and not drink anything.

It is quite possible that your urine was too diluted.  Do you have another test?  Do one tomorrow morning with your first pee of the day.

I beleve you need to buy a different test. If you are not satified go to a dr or clinic.
