  1. Well I have been on a plane several times, and its not much of a diffrent feeling than just sitting in a car for long ammounts of time.  Just remember that planes are a lot safer than cars.  Theres nothing to worry about, its probablly the safest way to travel.  Bring a gameboy, or a book/magazine if you like to read.  A few times I have stayed up real late before my trip, and don't get  much sleep.  So I can sleep through the plane ride.  I wouldn't suggest that for a real long flight though.  When I have went to sleep during long flights my ears have popped, and thats not the kind of pain you want. >.<

If you feel pressure building up in your head just try and yawn.  If it builds for too long it will be painful.

  2. 4am flight???

Print some stuff out from the net about Florida and the things you can do then read that on the plane. www.tripadvisor.com is brilliant for that sort of information, especially specifically for teenagers.

Puzzle books with word finders and crosswords are good.

Take some lollies, chewy ones, to eat on take off and landing to help stop your ears from blocking with the pressure.

Magazines are always good because you can flick through them and put them down 100 times without feeling committed like a book.

They'll probably serve food and drinks (unless it is a budget airline) and that usually takes up a bit of time watching them go up and down the aisles with the trolley. You might even get to see one of those fake gritted teeth smile they do when someone asks for something unusual! ha ha ha.

If you're into planes, find out what type of plane you're flying on (Airbus, Boeing etc) and print off some stuff to read about the design etc of it.

Just have fun and enjoy it!

  3. Take an iPod, enjoy the flight.

The reason the pilot is there is so that you don't have to do anything!

  4. Sleep, play around with the IFE (if availible), listen to music on your iPod, read, and walk-around.

    Enjoy the flight... =)

  5. I have been on a plane a million times! I traveled back and forth from Toronto, to Split Croatia, but now I live in Croatia lol but, anyways, what I like to do is take some gravol because I get plane sick sometimes, and if you take the drowsy kind, it will knock you out for the trip, so you will sleep the whole time! Or, you can bring your mp3 player or cd player. Or a book or magazine, and bring headphones if you want to watch the movie on the plane because sometimes you have to pay for them and sometimes you get them free, but just in case. Usually they play all the newest movies, and one time I watched harry potter on the plane when it was still in theaters!
