Questions About Parrots?

Just some questions about parrots that live in the rainforest, if your able to answer them all that would be great, here are the questions:

Names of rainforests that they are found in?

what they eat?

how tall are they?

how wide are they?

  1. The African Grey Parrot is a medium-sized parrot of the genus Psittacus, endemic to primary and secondary rainforest of West and Central Africa, and is one of the most intelligent birds. They feed primarily on nuts and fruits, supplemented by leafy matter.



    That's all I could find on this type of parrot.  I've heard they are smart buggers.


  2. There are so many different types of parrots that the answers to these questions would be very varied. They come from many different places, they eat different diets depending on what type and what place they live, they are very different sizes from 6" to 36" tall. This question is impossible to answer without more specific species.

  3. There are too many birds in too many different countries to tell about here.  Get a book at the library and you will find what you are looking for.  If you look on the internet, you have to be too specific about the breeds for good information sometimes..........

  4. --The live in the rainforest of the amazon, rainforests of south america, and the island of the south pacific and carribean. Also some types of parrots live in the deserts and grasslands of Ausralia and africa.

    --parrots eat almost 30 different kinds of plants, including plums, eucalyptus, pecans, cherries, and carob

    macaws are about 34 inches tall and im not sure about the width

    but you gotta remeber this is only for the macaw buddy there are over 350 species of parrots.
