Questions For Newspaper Interview?

I am writing an article about how the prices of our school vending machines went up in price - I have no article without interview questions. All the questions I ask either give me a yes or no question or a short simple answer. I am at a dead end, please help.

After talking to the owners of the machines, take a poll of students to find out how much money they bring to school on average, how many use the vending machines vs. the cafeteria, and whether they will continue using them.
