Questions about Dodge Chargers.?

Question

Alright I've been thinking of getting a Dodge Charger as my first car (turning 16 and getting license in a month). At first I was thinking about getting a Mustang GT but those are so common.. and the insurance would be through the roof.. anyways, I was wondering if Chargers are generally reliable? Are they durable? How much better is the Charger SXT than the SE (I'm probably getting an SE if I decide to get a charger)? Do they do well in crash tests? And lastly, do girls think these cars are impressive?

If you can answer all or just a few of these questions, any input would be extremely helpful! Thanks!

I think you are very lucky to be getting a Charger at 16!  I just got mine at 25!  I love the car!  It gets 18 MPH City and 26 MPG highway it has 5 star crash rating on evreything exect 1 which has a 4 star ~ which is still very good.  I got mine brand new and it came with a three year bumper to bumber warranty, and the a lifetime warranty on everything internal.  It also came with Sirius Radio for a year!  I would definalty tint the windows though ~ and yeah girls love them!  Do not get a hemi though the insurance would be way to high!  The insurance on mine s $160 a month but i've had ALOT of tickets! LOL!   There are also alot of things you can do to this car to make it more original!  I would definatly go with it!

I like Chargers too! But I would not waste my time getting a V6. Even with gas prices high I'd still go for the 5.7 Hemi. And if I had some extra dough, I'd go straight for the 6.1 SRT8.

dude mustangs suck (old news anyway) dodge chargers are better the old versions are the best cars in the world.

if u are going to buy a charger get the SRT 8 Model other wise your wasteing your money or buy the new 2009 camaro

as far as girls tint the windows on the charger and get loud pipes might help

the charger s a good car very reliable and very safe,but the insurance on one of those for a 16 year old will also be very high, if it says charger on it,it will be expensive,and they are impressive,but expensive to keep up,one thing now about he chargers is there's lots of those around,if it was  an older one it would be a lot more impressive though,the newer ones are real common now,the was really impressive when they first came out but they have lost some of their popularity now,good luck.
