Question:

Questions about: Frizzy, Split End, Damaged hair ?

Okay so I have very frizzy hair, with alot of split ends. I use a conair 1" ceramic straightner (the 19.99 kind) and I use sunsilk straighten up shampoo and conditioner (purple) I donnot dry my hair using a blow dryer, but simply drying it with a towel. Then brushing my damp hair with a regular brush. Once its dry , it gets all wavy. So I straighten it.

I donnot use any heat protectors.

Lately I've been noticing more and more splint ends and its getting frizzy.

I plan to grow my hair long.

WHAT CAN I DO?

My Questions:

What can I do to maintain frizz?

What can I do to get rid of splint ends?

What can I do to keep my hair straight?

What are some good heat protectors?

What is a good shampoo (You could purchase at a drugstore or wal-mart) ?

What is a good straightner?

  1. try dove intense damage therapy shampoo and conditioner!..

  2. -Use an anti-frizz serum

-get a trim and & use a shampoo for dry and damaged hair

-keep doing what you usually do (or get a better straightener)

    -tresemme

    -tresemme

-CHI (expensive, but well worth it!)

  3. Go to the hairdressers and get a trim to get rid of split ends. They wont take off too much length so it shouldnt affect the fact that you want your hair to grow long.

Use a heat protector,i recommend Tresemme. And also, leave your conditioner in for a couple of minutes, and rinse out with cool water.do not rub your hair too hard when drying, and try to comb when its wet instead of brushing.use a deep conditioning mask such as Pantene once or twice a week.Use a serum on damp hair, concentrating the products on ends. For a quick fix to get rid of split ends,Mark Hill does some products..capsules or something that you rub on your hair.but in the long run, getting a trim is the only way to get rid of them.Any shampoo by Swarzkopf is good, and Charles Worthington is an amazing brand. As for straighteners,Nicky Clarkes Kinder 4 Hair is amazing..it set me back about £25,but in general most of his straighteners are great.Mark Hill has a pink and black digital straightener for £50-£90,but if you can splurge, why not get some GHD's,which cost around £120? theyre supposedly the best straighteners, but im fine with my Nicky Clarkes :)

    good luck.x

  4. 1. i had frizzy hair when i used the same shampoo you used now but i switched to garnier fructis sleek and shine and it really helps eliminate frizz!

    2. you cant do anything to get rid of split ends except get them trimmed off. off to the salon! :]

    3. i would just keep straightening your hair, but you may want to invest in a better straightner. but i was at Marshall's yesterday and found all of these top professional straighteners for about 20 dollars! so i would try stores like that.

    4. i know tressmee or whatever makes a good one. i just use garnier fructis high glossing spray on damp hair cuz it can also be used as a heat protector.

    5. garnier fructis sleek and shine!

    6. i just use a Conair one and it works pretty good. i also heard BedHead was good, and CHI

*if your hair is still frizzy after the shampoo and conditioner then i suggest you use Pantene's fortifying fortifier that comes in a tube thing once a week. the first time i used it, my hair felt like velvet.

so thats my whole routine, and my hair has been getting healthier, shinier and less frizzy! hope i helped :]

  5. Well here's a tip, don't brush your hair when its damp or wet, it will damage it just wait until it's fully dry.

What can I do to maintain frizz?

Use an anti frizz lotion for your hair

What can I do to get rid of split ends?

Cut the ends of your hair every 6 weeks.

Cutting off split and dead ends helps your hair grow longer.

What can I do to keep my hair straight?

Use a hairspray that will keep it straight all day.

What are some good heat protectors?

Schwarzkopf Got2b crazy sleek flat iron & blow dry lotion. It's only like $5 and it works amazing.

What is a good shampoo (You could purchase at a drugstore or wal-mart) ?

Sunsilk, the one your using is great.

    What is a good straightner?

Chi, the bad side is it costs around $200.

  6. well...

to maintain frizz use a anti-frizz serum...but not alot ...

put some on your brush and brush through your hair.

no one can "get rid" of split ends just like you cant "get rid" of a tear in your paper. you have to trim the split ends off.

use a straightening heat protector to keep your hair straight and protect it from incredible heat damage.

my favorite heat protectant is ""beyond the zone turn up the heat" heat protecting spray" it comes in an orange translucent bottle and smells really god and does wonders for your hair :]

pantene is reallly good for your hair and makes your split ends look less noticeable.

    your hairstraightener is fine.

as long as it is ceramic.
