from my previous question, most of everyone recommended frostwire...

my question is....how is it different from limewire? how is it safer since its almost the same way how limwire is used? i just don't want to "lose" my computer and i've already spent so much money on music from itunes that my parents won't let me buy anymore....

  1. It's not much different, mainly the interface is different. It can't be much safer, because it's the same Gnutella network. Personally I would stay away from guntella unless you are looking to download single songs, videos or pictures. In which case, I'd recommend Torrenting. Using somthing like Utorrent and Mininova as a source. But, anyways they're not that different, frostwire is built on LimeWire PRO and is blue. You can read the review here: http://www.download.com/FrostWire/3000-2...

Safety-wise, regardless, you'll need good A/V and and a Firewall, I use OneCare from windows because it's simple and non-intensive on my resources. And the best way to stay safe on the gnutella network is to only download popular files and avoid files with no caps and innaccurate file names, also, only download music in mp3 and stay away from pictures, they are the ones with viruses, etc.

  2. Frostwire is the same as limewire .both are safe to use if you know how to pick and download.
