What is/are the tradition/s in Nepal?

What kind of attitude do Nepali people have?

(like for example, one of the Filipino's attitude is after finishing a job, "hmm..this'll do!" and won't bother to make it much better

Buddhism is the religion in Nepal, right? What practices do they do?

  1. I loved visiting Nepal. It was EXTREMELY friendly (except for the nose blowing... you see when you get there). I mean considering it is one of the poorest countries in the world, I never saw a stray animal that didn't have a full tummy. I do think tourism is going to eventually harden the people.

    The main religion is Hindu (because they have more contact with India not China, since the Himalayas are a natural border). But they are very open minded (there were temples of different religions right next to each other).

    The men were a little chauvinistic (though not to "western women", but the women were just lovely. Anytime I was out alone without my hubby, women were come up and try to talk to me. It is also VERY safe for women, since there is little violence against them.

    The only religious practices that I remember were the prayer wheels and the colorful  gifts to the "gods".

  2. Nepali's are a hardworking lot cause job are hard to come buy. They are smart, and very friendly. Hinduism is the religion in Nepal and some also practices Buddhism.
