Questions about Ohio Virtual Academy???

Question

Can a 17 year old who stuggled in highschool enroll as a freshman?

Can you graduate from this online school?

Is it for anyone living in any part of Ohio?

Please answer. I'll be moving to Ohio within the next month and need to know these things...

What ever you decide to do, don't go to OHDELA. He will never graduate. The students who do well there do well because they are honors students. If you are not like them, don't even think about this school. Try connections or ecot. Good luck.

Definately check out Ohio Connections Academy.  I quit Ohio Virtual cause no one would answer my question.  Ohio Connections Academy teachers have been the best!!!!  It's like a real school but online. If you go there, I'll see you in the chess club.

I am in high school at ohdela.  It is great and they let you work at your own pace, so if your motivated and do the work you can graduate early or catch up if your behind.  Give them a call or go to their website. ohdela.com  800-4my-dela

I'm not sure about that one but I am familiar with another school, Ohio Connections Academy.  The high school program has students work directly with the teacher and is really flexible.  http://www.connectionsacademy.com/ohio-school/free-online-public-school.aspx

They can help every kind of learner get their diploma.  My son graduated from Connections Academy last year and my other child will graduate next year.

I would like to introduce another option. OHDELA, The Ohio Distance and Electronic Learning Academy. We have been with them for a number of years and they are great. Their teachers are amazing and they provide everything you need and then some. They give you a loaner computer, printer/scanner/fax machine, and provide reimbursement for internet even. They offer a myChoice account which allow you to supplement your education however you choose whether thru field trips, lessons like dance or art, karate, books, etc. They also are one of the only online schools that have an active PTO, National Honor Society and Clubs such as ski club.
