How bad would you say it hurts. How hard is the cleaning process. How long does it take to heal. And anything else you really know about them.

Thanks!

  1. all i know is, don't get one

  2. depends on how thick your nostril is! and how high your pain tolerance is. mine was quick and painless. you can get it pierced with a 20g, 18g, or a 16g. i have a 20g which is what most people have. they literally just clean your nose, the jewellery and stuff and then push it through real easy!

cleaning it is pretty simple. i have always been advised to use EMPSOM SALT AND WATER. really. don't use anything else. not alcohol or any soap or even just water! mix a shot glass of warm water with a teaspoon or epsom salt. epsom salt you can buy at any pharmacy or supermarket. don't use just regular salt because it had additives in it which can irritate your piercing. dip a Q-tip in the solution and stick a finger in your nose so you push it through so you can see part of the post of your jewellery. then just clean around it and make sure you clean the the post of the jewellery then slide it all the way back in so it gets inside the hole. do same for the inside. sometimes my nose ring gets irritated and i go back to cleaning it with epsom salt and it heals up really fast! its a miracle! another great thing to clean it with is h2ocean which you can get at piercing shops and hot topic. i've never tried it but its supposedly really good!

mine healed up in about 2-3 months. please please please please clean it though! my bestfriend got hers done, didnt clean it, and it got super super super infected and had to take it out. the outside got a huge oozing red lump on it, it looked horrible and now she has a scar. so cleaning is the key! and dont change it for about 4 months. what i did was go back to where i got it pierced and got them to teach me how to take it in and out because theres a nack to it.

nose piercings are really cute so make sure you get it pierced at a good place! i was very lucky and had a lovely woman do mine who was an ex dental asisstant. she placed it perfectly but some people arent as fortunate. my bestfriend got heres done at the same place but by a different piercer and hers turned out nowhere near as good as mine. so go to different shops and scope out wheres good and whats not. make sure everything is sanitary and they have gloves on. and dont let anyone come near you with a gun!

    good luck!

  3. I have one that I got a year ago when I was 15, didnt hurt a bit but then again I was used to piercings.... lol. It takes about two months to heal fully but you reallly cant leave it out for long cos when I leave it out mroe then a day because of the angle he pierced it at I have to poke it through with another earring before I can put in the right angled nose stud.... EFFORT! Lol. When getting the actual piercing thing they pascially use a clamp thing to stretch a lil bit of ur nose out and put the needle through real quick then the stud, its quite quick and doesnt hurt that much really. Its not a big deal at all, oh and dont get it done in some S****y place with a gun that can be really bad for it.

    Good luck!

  4. 4/10

  5. I had my nose pierced many moons ago now but it didn't hurt at all, I thought my ears hurt more.

  6. it hurt like heck and sometimes you even bleed it takes a lot of time to heal.

plus it looks ugly no boy or girl will fall with you but if its a goth

  7. On a scale of 1-10 it hurts about a 6. You only have to clean in twice a day with dial hand soap. And it heals in about 4-6 weeks. I had mine done about 4 weeks ago and its competely healed.Just don't let anyone pierce you nose with a piercing gun because they aren't always completely steral. Thats about it!

  8. It doesn't hurt at all...they numbed mine right before they pierced it. It takes four to six weeks to heal, depending on how well you take care of it. You must keep it very clean tho cuz it is pretty sensitive. Cleaning it isn't very hard at all. It is usually recommended that you use contact solution or salt water solution in order to clean it.

  9. It hurts but it's tolerable. Your eyes will water a lot. The cleaning process isn't hard, use a sea salt soak for a few months and don't remove the jewelery. If you remove the jewelery you could form a keloid, they are really common with nose piercings. If you get dry around the piercing use a little Vaseline.

  10. I got my done last year, and it really didn't hurt that much.  Felt like a quick sharp pinch and then it was over.

The cleaning process is not hard at all, I would recommend to get a ring at first because it is easier to clean, and will not fall out at night.

But beware if you take it out even for like 2 hours, it will start to fill in.

  11. I would say that it doesn't hurt that much.

When i got mine i was scared and expected it to hurt more than it actually did. It does make your eyes get watery though...

And every night you have to apply bactine to it and put a band-aid before you go to sleep.

[And be careful when you wipe your nose because one day i got a bloody nose and i wiped my nose with a tissue and my nose ring fell out. it hurts like a motherr to put it back in.!!!]
