Questions about a trip to Argentina?

I know that Iguazu falls is both in Argentina and Brazil. Do you need to get a visa to cross over and view the Brazilian side? What gives the best view, boat, helecopter, or just walking on the sides? Also what is the best mode of trasportation from Calafate to Perito Moreno, the glacier. Is there much to see in Calafate?

I think the Brazilian side is more beautiful, and I am Argentinian at that. However, the best kinda-long-distance views are those you can enjoy from our side; the Argentinian side looks real nice from Brazil, but nonetheless, the Brazilian side is all the better. Anyway, on either side you get to see really strange birds, lizards, snakes and a lot of these other animals that look kind of like your raccoons; I don't know the name for them, neither in English nor in Spanish. Don't get near them if they are with their babies though, I heard of a woman getting part of her cheek torn off for trying to pet the babies. But back to the subject of view here, all three of the options you mention are very different, and all great. If you choose the chopper, be prepared to get ripped off. And yes, it is STILL worth it. Also, DO NOT miss going on the little man made cat walks over the Paraná which lead you to the very mouth of the falls. If you are really into nature, it's going to be one of those things you'll never be able to explain to anybody in words.  

About the visa thing, I don't remember it being all that difficult getting across at all, you have to imagine the amount of people that cross over back and forth each day, not just tourism, I mean locals as well.
