Question:

Questions about bangs?

I just got bangs today, and I love them. They're straight, blunt, and go down to just below my eyebrows. However, I have some questions about taking care of them. I will be straightening them everyday (my hair is curly, they wouldn't work if I didn't) , so how can I prevent damage? Anything else I should know? Thanks in advance!

  1. the heat protection spray of course.. or

when ur hair is dry get ur bangs up, spray em w w.e hairspray, brush em straight, and pull it back into a lil poof.. whenever u don want to straighten em that is.. so ull keep ur hair healthy and still look cute :]]

  2. thats pretty cool=]

you should try heat protection products so that you wont damage your hair.

  3. don't straighten them for too long & don't concentrate the heat in one spot...especially at the ends since it gives split ends. i straighten my bangs too even if they're not the same kind as yours. =]

  4. Try some heat protection spray, you can get it at walmart.

  5. what i do with my bangs is shampoo, put straightening cream on (redken heat glide or garnier fructis smoothing milk), and blow dry with a round brush, then straighten.. it prevents burning and damage and looks great

  6. use a heat protectant and some thermal shampoo like the tresemme therma stuff... works well... take a few days a week when you don't straighten them too... like on weekends to let your hair stay healthy. also use a low heat setting on your flat iron... less of a heat damage issue...

  7. When you blow dry your hair, do it in the direction you want your bangs to lay.

So, hold the blow dryer above your head and face it down toward your bangs.

This will help to straighten your bangs before you use your straightenertener so that you don't have to use it as long.

    Good luck :]
