Questions about buying/licensing a motorcycle?

1. will a dealership let me test ride with only a permit?

2. can i purchase a bike with only a permit assuming i have insurance?

3. do i have to buy a bike before i take the dmv riding test? meaning do i have to have a bike registered and insured in my name? or can i borrow a registered and insured bike from someone else?

i live in the state of NV if that helps at all. thanks for your answers.

  1. 1:it depends if you have ur parents and if you have insurence.

    2:No, you also have to get a permit to drive a bike,

    3:no..it has to be yours

    The motorcycle/scooter must be registered and insured, but there is no stipulation that it must be in your name.

    To test ride on a public street/highway, a dealer would need to verify an M endorsement on your license.
